TøjProduktionsLab

From our studio in central Copenhagen, TøjProduktionsLab guides the sampling and production process for clothing brands and fashion designers, in close cooperation with our certified European manufacturers and suppliers.

We recently celebrated our 10th Anniversary and over this period, we have been instrumental in providing production services for a variety of brands, for example, AF Agger, Anne Sofie Madsen, Astrid Andersen, Cecilie Bahnsen, COLO Clothing, ISNURH, NOSOMNIA, TEOTOKI, etc.

TøjProduktionsLab provides our customers with everything they need with regards to their production processes under one roof. Our services will save you time, money and the effort of dealing with multiple suppliers.

TøjProduktionsLab is owned by Charlotte Houlberg Thompson and Michael Alfanso Thompson.

Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience within the fashion industry, she started her career at the legendary Dexter Wong label in Kentish Town, London. During her 15 years in London she worked as a sample machinist for some of the premier brands of the mid to late 90’s and early 00’s, including Betty Jackson, Clements Ribero, Ashley Isham and Erdem.
Charlotte has worked on both the technical and educational sides of fashion industry.
Prior to returning to Denmark, Charlotte worked for The Royal College of Art (London) as a Senior Technician in the MA Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear) team.
On her return to Denmark she conducted Special Projects on womenswear at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen.

Michael wears many caps at TøjProduktionsLab including but not limited to logistics, invoicing, sourcing and Mac support. Michael has background from the newspaper publishing industry, where he worked for the infamous Daily Mail (Associated Newspapers). This experience equipped him with many transferable skills, whether it be producing care label layouts, dealing with digital pattern files, making measurement charts. Michael’s cross-cultural abilities has made it easy for him to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers from various countries.
Throughout his career, Michael has always maintained a pre-occupation with music and has a keen interest in technology of all types. He has a BA Hons Business Studies, MsC Dip Advanced IT as well as various audio/media qualifications.
